If you enjoy having a a cocktail every now and then, leave your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your evening bag, your billfold, and leave all cash, charge cards and chequebooks out of the casino. Grab whatever cash you anticipate to use on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to burn and keep the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You could have a win after a boozy night out with your acquaintances and be blessed enough to hit a 25 minute toss at a hot craps game.
