Do Not Drink … Gamble!
If you enjoy having a a cocktail every now and then, leave your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your evening bag, your billfold, and leave all cash, charge cards and chequebooks out of the casino. Grab whatever cash you anticipate to use on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to burn and keep the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You could have a win after a boozy night out with your acquaintances and be blessed enough to hit a 25 minute toss at a hot craps game. Don’t forget that adventure because it’s as brief as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and wager. The pair simply do not go well together.
Keeping your moola back at the hotel might be a little bit excessive, but defensive measures for excessive behavior is necessary. If you wager to win, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to toss away your money nary a concern, then consume all the gratuitous beer your stomach are able to handle, but don’t take charge cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of going after losses after your befuddled brain loses everything!
Allow me to take this 1 step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then go on to the internet to bet in your preferred casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my domicile, however considering that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can’t drink and gamble.
How come? Although I don’t consume alcohol a lot, once I drink alcohol, it’s clearly adequate to blur my common sense. I wager, so I don’t consume alcohol when betting. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager at the same time. When mixed, both create an awful, and crazy, cocktail.
